In my previous roles I have supported people with drug and alcohol misuse issues on a variety of projects in prisons, needle & syringe programmes, community alcohol services, Structured Day Programmes, Employment & Training programmes and a homelessness multiple needs community resettlement unit. I've worked for RAPt for five years in different projects in London including three prisons and a community alcohol project in Surrey. I came to Birmingham in May 2009 to set up The A-Team.

I am a Tier 1 Alcohol Support Worker. My main job is to deliver alcohol awareness presentations to schools, colleges and work forces. I also oversee the peer support groups. After completing basic counselling and cognitive behaviour therapy courses, I started as a volunteer back in June 2011, in September of the same year I joined the A-Team full time.
