Within these events the police have asked the A-Team to help them as well, providing on the spot interventions. These include giving out bottles of water with branded significant messages on the labels,and a help line number, and to encourage having a soft drink in between alcoholic drinks. More in depth interventions offered are to detect and prevent anti-social behaviour, criminal conduct and to ensure the safety of visitors, workers and locals to the Sutton town centre.
The very successful first event was on the 16th of August. With help from the A-Team the police were able to do a fine job, and are now looking to hire the A-Team for more help again for more future events.

As a recently identified hotspot for violent crime, mostly alcohol related, Sutton town centre has finally found the A -Team, and we agreed to help. The majority of these crimes have been linked with alcohol use and due to the exceedingly good name that the A-Team has now built up, Sutton LDG have also requested our help with this problem. In this partnership we have been asked to hold a series of events to reduce alcohol related harm and violence in the area.
